Featured Team Member Andrew Bose: Playing to Win

By 0 Permalink 0

As you know, we love to talk up our amazing team here at Herb Chambers Honda Seekonk. Every one of them has a story! We’ve featured our BDC group before, but there were some new faces recently and we decided to visit and talk to them again. That led us to Andrew Bose, who had been with the BDC group for nearly a year now.

Originally from Maryland, Andrew’s story begins in college. He’s currently a student at the University of Rhode Island, working his way toward a degree in kinesthesiology, health and fitness. Sports have always been a part of his life. He played football all through high school and then as a freshman at URI, and then took a year to try his luck with the NFL, playing the preseason for the Baltimore Ravens.

Yes, we have a former NFL football player at Herb Chambers Honda Seekonk!

Andrew learned a lot from his experience at the NFL, and he shared some of those lessons and how they continue to shape his life and outlook today:

  1. Nurture your relationships. Make the right connections so you’ll be able to show people what you bring to the table.
  2. Showing up is important, but it’s only the first step. You have to be motivated to do the next step, and be accountable to keep on going,
  3. Be ambitious. Find out what makes you shine, and do that, always.

To Andrew, sales is about communication and having pride in what you do. “We have to learn to communicate in a way that helps people understand what we have to offer,” he says. “And we have to be able to communicate our pride in our product, and the Herb Chambers name.”

We’re glad to have you on our winning team at Herb Chambers Honda Seekonk, Andrew. Keep on shining!
