Support our local community with Hurl the Pearl at McCoy Stadium

Hurl the Pearl is back at PawSox stadium for the 2018 season, and this year, fans are aiming to hit the bed of a 2018 Honda Ridgeline. Just like in previous years, fans purchase numbered soft balls prior to the 5th inning. And after that final out, the Ridgeline takes to the warning track and circles the field as the balls begin raining down. Every ball that lands in the bed of the truck is a winner, as the fans with the great aim collect an awesome PawSox prize pack!

The Hurl the Pearl competition comes to McCoy Stadium as part of the partnership between the Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts Honda dealers, of which Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk is a proud member. The funds raised from the sale of the balls goes to support The Tomorrow Fund, a nonprofit Rhode Island organization that provides emotional and financial support for pediatric patients at the Edwin Forman Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI.

The cost to purchase balls starts at just $1 per ball, or grab 5 balls for just $3. So be sure to find the ball sale locations within the stadium and pick up a couple when you arrive. Then enjoy the spectacle as the balls start flying from around the field trying to land in the back of our customized Honda Ridgeline.

Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk is proud to continue our support of the PawSox organization, and this event in particular, as we help raise money to support kids and families in their fight with cancer.  We look forward to seeing your tosses at the next game as we cheer on our hometown ball players!
