The highly anticipated 2016 Honda HR-V is finally here and who better to bring you a review than me, Honda Laura! As usual, a big thank you goes to Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk for allowing me to test drive this “adorable little monster.” What’s unique about this vehicle is that it incorporates the Honda Fit chassis and the body style of the Honda CR-V. When paired together, you get a sporty, yet sophisticated vehicle. Be sure to watch my YouTube video below and read about just some of the many features it has.
Black grill with chrome trim
Push button start/keyless entry ( My Favorite!)
LED brake lights
17” Alloy wheels
Sideways back door handle (love this new feature)
Leather wrap steering wheel
Touch Screen climate control
Heated side mirrors
7” Display audio system
Under the Hood:
1.8 liter, 4 cylinder i-VTEC ( same at the Honda Civic)
3 different transmissions offered:
6 speed manual/2WD
Honda really went above and beyond with this one! They put a lot of thought into the added features like hidden HDMI ports and the knee-level cargo floor, just to name a few. On my test drive, I didn’t feel like I was driving on a Honda Fit chassis. The drive was amazing and I think I know what my next car is going to be! Head on down to Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk if you are in the area and test one of these bad boys, immediately! You won’t be sorry!
