Hi everyone! It’s Honda Laura here. Ready for more Honda action? Check out the video of my test drive and review of the 2015 Honda Pilot Special Edition!

OK, I’m out here on Conimicut Point in Warwick, RI checking out the 2015 Honda Pilot Special Edition. The SE is a brand new model of the Pilot available this year. It lands between the mid-level EX model and the mega-loaded EXL model in the Honda Pilot lineup. At $4000 less than the EXL, it’s a great choice for you if you’re looking for an affordable but feature-packed SUV. It features a great trim package and awesome entertainment system! I’ll talk more about that later. First, here are the specs:

Now, more about the entertainment system! It’s one of my favorite features of the Pilot Special Edition.  The SE features the Honda DVD rear entertainment system.  This back seat res system includes a drop-down 9” LCD screen complete with a remote control and two sets of wireless headphones.  You can listen to XM Radio, stream music or watch a DVD, all from the back seat.  And with 38.5 cubic inches of leg space, you’ll be comfortable while you do it!

During my test drive, I had an amazingly smooth and quiet ride, and I was impressed by how minimal the road noise was.  My drive was so smooth and quiet it felt more like I was driving a car than a V-6 SUV! I felt nice and high up off the ground, the sound system was awesome, and it was all in all a great drive.

Thanks for taking the ride with me in the Honda Pilot SE! Want to give it a try yourself?  Stop by Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk!
